The Toronto Region remains Canada’s top destination for global investment, and this past year proved why. With unmatched talent, business-friendly conditions, and access to major markets, more international companies are choosing our region to grow and succeed.
In 2024/25, Toronto Global, in collaboration with our regional, provincial, and federal partners, secured 42 investments that created 2,468 direct jobs and generated $637 million in capital expenditures, contributing $212.7 million in tax revenue across all levels of government.
Importantly, a growing number of these wins are landing beyond the City of Toronto, highlighting the strength and opportunity found across the broader region.
